[ ORIGINS & THE SCHOOL OF LIMITATIONS ]
Drawat’s trajectory began in 1991 on a Commodore Amiga 500. Rather than formal audio schools, his foundation was built on tracker software and the hard discipline of hardware constraints: one sampler, two synthesizers, an analog desk, and zero margin for error. A decade of underground sonic deconstruction shaped a raw, tactile approach to sound engineering.

Alongside longtime collaborator DJ Nexs One, he emerged as one half of Crash House Brothers with official catalog entries on Berlin’s Dangerous Drums, followed by co-founding Carepack Records in 2004—a staple imprint for heavy breakbeat acts. Three decades in, Drawat bypasses industry posturing entirely: 90s breakbeat architecture meets precision low-end and analog grit. No manuals, no filler—strictly production.

[ ORIGINS & UNDERGROUND ROOTS ]
DJ Nexs One’s trajectory traces back to 1994 within Berlin’s gritty underground, evolving from early Kiez hip-hop crews like Ragtop Movement and the Linse youth club scene into a fearless champion of jungle and breakbeat. Refusing to stay confined by rigid genre boundaries, his bold pivot to heavy breaks carved out a definitive lane in Berlin’s counterculture.
[ HERITAGE & SOUND IDENTITY ]
As co-founder of Carepack Records and one half of Crash House Brothers alongside Drawat, Nexs One helped build the foundational infrastructure of Berlin’s breakbeat movement. From legendary warehouse sessions and festival stages like Nature One to heavy-hitting vinyl releases on Dangerous Drums and Systematica, his legacy is rooted in deep crate knowledge and uncompromised underground spirit.
